A New Policy Around Wiring Funds

Touchstone's priority has always been providing the best possible closing experience for its clients, and wire fraud threatened that. John Chiesa, Controller at Touchstone, and his team realized that in order to provide the best and safest closing experience, they would need to invest in wire fraud prevention technology. 

Before implementing CertifID, Touchstones' policy around sending a wire to sellers was antiquated, frustrating, and, although thorough, still presented a risk. By employing CertifID, Touchstone aimed to eliminate time-intensive callbacks and any chance of funds landing in the wrong hands.

After a seamless and speedy implementation with the CertifID onboarding team, Touchstone changed its internal policies around wiring funds. Touchstone's new policy states that if any client or attorney wishes to receive a wire, they'd have to go through CertifID's secure validation process. There is no second option, and if a client does not oblige, they simply receive a check.

If you want a wire, you can complete CertifID. If not, you can always receive a check. It was plain and simple, and made my life easier.
