Terms & Agreements

Please read the terms and conditions carefully before opting into the competition. These terms and conditions govern your participation and rewards in the competition. You are an able participant only on the condition that you agree to the terms set forth below. If you do not agree to the conditions, do not enter into the competition.

• Eligibility Criteria: Any Old Republic Title (ORT) sales representative employee within the agency business is eligible to participate in the Race to Protect competition.

• Entry Mechanism: ORT sales representatives may participate in the competition through the communication of the ORT and CertifID offering that results in a title agent or real estate attorney scheduling a demonstration of the CertifID product OR a title agent or real estate attorney signing up for an annual software license with CertifID. 

• Effective Date: The competition goes into effect on April 18, 2024 and concludes on September 30, 2024.

• Prize Details: Prizes will be announced on Mondays and distributed within 5 business days of announcement. See table A for an overview of the weekly, monthly and grand prize announcements. Prizes are non-transferable.

• Judging Criteria: Awards will be distributed for sales representatives who drive the most new agents to schedule a demo AND the most agents who sign up for an annual license with CertifID. 

• Qualified demos: CertifID will monitor the quality of demos to ensure they are qualified prospects. Demo submissions may be disqualified if they do not meet the base requirements to use CertifID. Additionally, demos are considered qualified when they are a new agent to CertifID, not an existing CertifID customer.

• Subject to change: The rules, terms and conditions of Race to Protect are subject to change without notice. 

• Date Cutoffs for Weekly Competition: Prizes will be awarded every Monday to the ORT sales representative with the most demos requested based on a data measurement period from Saturday to the following Friday at 5pm CDT of the previous week.
  • Exception to this rule: Following the launch of the Race to Protect competition on April 18th, the first weekly prize will be awarded to the ORT sales representative with the most demos requested between the period of April 18th, 2024 to April 26, 2024 at 5pm CDT

• Date Cutoffs for Monthly Competition: Prizes will be awarded on the 1st day of every month to the ORT sales representative with the most agents signed based on a data measurement period from the 1st day of the month to the last day of the month at 5pm CDT of the previous month.
  • Exception to this rule: Following the launch of the Race to Protect competition on April 18th, the first monthly prize will be awarded to the ORT sales representative with the most agents signed between the period of April 18th, 2024 and May 31st, 2024 at 5pm CDT.

• Taxes: Any ORT sales representative who receives a prize is responsible for any federal,  state, or local income tax that may apply.  

• Timing for Grand Prize Claim: The ORT sales representatives who win and accept the grand prize will attend the Formula 1 Race in Austin, TX scheduled for the year of 2025. 

• Tie Breakers: In the event of a tie wherein two or more sales representatives  have the same number of demos requested, the sales representative who had the most recent demo requested will be the winner. In the event of two or more sales representatives being tied for a monthly award for most agents signed up, the agent who has the most recent sign up will win the monthly award. 

• Definitions
  • Business Day: a day, other than a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday
  • Demo: an agent completes the “schedule a demo” form on the ORT landing page and selects their sales rep, submits a demo request and identifies their sales rep through other forms on the CertifID website. Demos submitted by current or existing CertifID customers, will not be counted in the Race to Protect competition. CertifID reserves the right to disqualify demo submissions based on agent qualifications to actually utilize CertifID software. 
  • Demo Request: an agent who fills out the demo form on the ORT partner page. 
  • Agent signup: a new agent who has signed a software license contract with CertifID. Agent signup does not include agents who are currently using CertifID and request to transition their existing license to take advantage of Old Republic Titles $500 offer.
